Ping G440 Max Driver (DEMO)
The G440 driver family (MAX, LST, SFT) is optimized to deliver more ball speed through multiple advancements, including PING’s deepest CG in a driver to date and a shallower, thinner face, while continuing to ensure the game-changing forgiveness expected from a PING driver. Each model is designed to fit a specific player type, with each head profile engineered to provide launch conditions to best match their swing. The overall system weight is lighter by 10 grams and the standard shaft length is ¼" longer than previous models to help golfers swing faster for higher-launching, longer drives with a pleasing, slightly muted sound.
The G440 MAX is the most forgiving model and fits most golfers; available in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts with a three-position adjustable back weight.
Free-Hosel Technology
Weight removed from a section of the hosel is re-allocated to help push mass lower to create PING’s deepest center of gravity in a driver to date, aligning it closer to the force line for faster ball speed, optimal spin and higher launch for longer and straighter drives.
Hotter, Thinner Face
A lower face height allows us to make the face both thinner and hotter for more ball speed and consistency across the clubface, including the high heel region.
Lighter Overall, Longer Shaft Length
The total system weight is reduced by 10 grams and the standard length of our proprietary ALTA CB Blue shaft is 46" (1/4" longer than the previous model) to help golfers swing faster for more speed while maintaining a tight dispersion pattern. The standard length is 45.50" for the PING Tour 2.0 (Chrome and Black) and stock aftermarket options (Project X Denali Red and Mitsubishi Tensei 1K Black).
CarbonFly Wrap Crown
Common to all three models (MAX, LST, SFT), the CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is re-allocated to help lower the CG, ensure forgiveness and contribute to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact.
Heavier 3-Position Adjustable Back Weight
A 29-gram back weight in the MAX and LST models ensures forgiveness and can be adjusted into draw, fade or neutral position to influence shot shape and trajectory.
Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in ball flight for the best results.

These clubs have never been previously played. They only exhibit signs of shop wear. It’s the perfect item for the player who wants to own new but appreciates saving money.
EXCELLENT
These clubs have been hit previously but only for a very few shots. Golf ball marks are barely visible on faces. Light marks on the sole may be barely visible as well. This item will make you a proud owner as it looks as if it has been played very sparingly.
VERY GOOD
These clubs have been played in an appropriate fashion. The wear is typical for an item or similar model/age and has been well taken care of to date. Ball wear is visible only on the face with the only signs of cosmetic wear being very light and primarily associated with the face and sole of the item.
GOOD
These clubs have been played quite a bit previously but still have plenty of play left in them. Ball wear, scratches or light dings can be found on and around these clubs, none of which affects the playability of these items.
FAIR
These clubs have been played with great frequency and exhibit a great deal of cosmetic wear. There are heavy scratches, ball marks, rock dings and the like associated with these items. The item itself is still in tact and ready for play.
POOR
Poor condition clubs are affected to the point of not being playable, therefore we do not offer this product to our customers.
